A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Tuscaloosa, effective immediately as of October 9 at 4:20 PM CDT by the National Weather Service in Birmingham, AL. The warning remains in effect until October 10 at 12:30 AM UTC. Residents should prepare for hazardous wind and significant flooding.
Wind speeds are expected to reach 15-25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph, posing a potential for wind between 39 to 57 mph. Damage to porches, awnings, sheds, unanchored mobile homes, and large tree limbs is possible. Scattered power and communication outages are also anticipated.
