North Miami Launches Water Bill Assistance Program for Residents Facing Financial Hardship

North Miami residents struggling with overdue utility bills can now apply for emergency assistance through the newly launched NoMi Water Bill Assistance Program. The program offers a one-time payment to eligible households to cover past due water, sewer, stormwater, and sanitation charges.

The City of North Miami established this program to provide a safety net for families experiencing financial hardship. Assistance funds aim to help residents resolve their utility payment situations after they have exhausted their own resources.

To qualify for the program, applicants must reside within the City of North Miami and be at least two billing cycles behind on their average utility bill. Additionally, residents must demonstrate financial hardship and provide proof of North Miami residency, along with valid picture identification. The assistance is limited to one payment per household at a North Miami address.

Residents can apply in person at Utility Billing Services, located at 776 NE 125 Street, North Miami, FL 33161.
