Norfolk Police Arrest Teen in East Brambleton Shooting

Norfolk police arrest 18-year-old in East Brambleton Avenue shooting

Norfolk Police arrested Tyler M. Rollerson, 18, on May 21 in connection with a shooting that injured a 16-year-old on East Brambleton Avenue.

Officers responded to the 200 block of East Brambleton Avenue around 8:40 p.m. on May 9 and found the teenager suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics took him to a local hospital.

Rollerson faces charges of malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, and use of a firearm. He remains held without bond at Norfolk City Jail.

Police have not disclosed what led to the shooting or disclosed any relationship between Rollerson and the victim. The investigation continues.
