Helen Pallos, 90, Former New York Caterer, Dies

Helen Pallos, who owned a New York catering business before moving to Florida in 1990, died June 13, 2024. She was 90.

Born July 4, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, to Andrew and Helen Sinko, Pallos operated her catering business for many years with her husband, Nicholas Pallos. Her husband preceded her in death in 2017.

Pallos is survived by her son, Andrew Pallos, and his wife, Roseann, of Bay Shore, New York, and her grandson, Christopher Pallos, of New York. She was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Homes & Crematory - Seven Springs Chapel. A funeral service was Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment followed at Florida National Cemetery.

The family requests memorial donations to Gulfside Hospice in Helen Pallos's name.
