New Port Richey Mourns Beloved Community Member Elene Mar Hahn Weaver

Elene Mar “Lynn” Hahn Weaver, a beloved New Port Richey community member, died peacefully Sept. 10, 2026, at age 86. Lynn leaves a legacy of love, family, friendship and cherished memories.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her kind and generous heart touched many lives, and her warmth made a lasting impact.

Lynn embraced life, finding joy in activities like bridge, cards, tap dancing, community theater and tennis. She also enjoyed visiting casinos and belonged to two book clubs. Her adventurous spirit created many special memories, including cruises to the Mediterranean and Alaska.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Werner; sister Madeline Sammons; daughter Denise Mullineaux; sons Ronald Hahn Jr. and Gregory Hahn; and stepson Matthew Werner. Her grandchildren include Jennifer, Alec, Jordan, Michael, Courtney, Zachary, Gabrielle and Sofia. Her great-grandchildren are Luca, Eliana, Case, Kennedy and Olivia.

Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Cornelia Seneca Altieri, and her father, Joseph Altieri.

Those who knew Lynn remember her adventurous spirit, generous nature, love of family and the joy she brought to others. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held Nov. 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Timber Greens Clubhouse in New Port Richey.

The family welcomes memorial donations in Elene’s name to Gulfside Hospice in New Port Richey or a Parkinson’s disease foundation of the donor’s choice.
