Clerk & Comptroller: 2026-2027 Holiday Closures Announced
The Office of Nikki Alvarez-Sowles, Clerk & Comptroller, has announced its holiday and in-service closures for 2026 and 2027, affecting regular business hours.

NEW PORT RICHEY – The Office of Nikki Alvarez-Sowles, Clerk & Comptroller, will close for holidays and in-service days throughout 2026 and 2027. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
In 2026, the office will close for Veteran's Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11; Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 26; the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, Nov. 27; Christmas Eve on Thursday, Dec. 24; Christmas Day on Friday, Dec. 25; and New Year's Eve on Thursday, Dec. 31.
The 2027 closure schedule includes New Year's Day on Friday, Jan. 1; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 18; Good Friday on Friday, March 26; Memorial Day on Monday, May 31; the day before Independence Day on Friday, July 2; Independence Day (Observed) on Monday, July 5; Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 6; and an In-Service Day on Friday, Sept. 17. The office will also close for Veteran's Day on Thursday, Nov. 11; Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 25; the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, Nov. 26; the day before Christmas Eve on Thursday, Dec. 23; Christmas Eve on Friday, Dec. 24; and New Year's Eve on Friday, Dec. 31.
