MILTON, FL. (June 3, 2026) – The City of Milton's Natural Gas Line Replacement Project continues to make progress as crews near completion of work on Alabama Street and adjacent roadways. As construction advances, the next areas scheduled for work include Park Avenue, Byrom Street, and Cedar Street. Construction in these areas is expected to begin soon and is anticipated to be completed within approximately 90 days, weather permitting. Work schedules may shift due to weather conditions or field requirements encountered during construction. Residents in affected areas will continue to receive door hanger notifications in advance of work beginning on their street. If natural gas service must be temporarily interrupted during construction, certified technicians will return to relight appliances at no cost. If residents are not home at the time service is restored, instructions will be left regarding follow-up service. Streets and sidewalks impacted by construction will be restored once utility work is complete. The City appreciates residents' patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure project continues to modernize Milton's natural gas system and improve long-term reliability for customers.
