MILTON, FL — The City of Milton, in partnership with the Milton Garden Club, will host a free community plant workshop on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Milton Community Center, inside the Clyde L. Gracey Room. This one-hour workshop is designed for residents of all experience levels—from beginners to seasoned gardeners—who are interested in learning practical, low-cost ways to grow and maintain their own plants while connecting with others in the community. Master Gardener and guest speaker Jennifer Weber will lead the session, sharing her expertise on soil health, pest management, proper watering techniques, plant propagation, and caring for both indoor and outdoor plants. The workshop will emphasize how residents can successfully grow and maintain plants using what they already have, reinforcing that gardening should be accessible to anyone with an interest in plants. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with members of the Milton Garden Club, participate in plant swaps, and meet other local plant enthusiasts. Light refreshments will be available, and attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch. The event supports the City's Yard of the Season program, which recognizes residents who contribute to the beauty and character of Milton's neighborhoods through thoughtful landscaping and seasonal décor.
