Public Records Request The Town Clerk is the Official Custodian of Public Records for the Town of Highland Beach and handles all public information requests. There are some things that you can consider when you make a public records request that can decrease the response time and reduce production costs. A significant amount of information is available on the Town's website. • Be specific; avoid overly broad requests. • Provide dates ranges of requested public records, especially on emails and correspondence. How long does it take to receive the requested public records? The Town responds to public records requests as quickly as possible. However, requests for a large number of documents, or requests that require significant staff time may result in a longer response time. The volume of public record requests may also slow the response time. Public records requests are processed in the order they are received.

"Start off your holiday festivities with us at Avalon Park's annual Avalon Aglow event on December 5th! Starting at 3 p.m., enjoy the food and festivities while also catching live performances and a parade around Downtown Avalon. Make sure to stay for the fireworks later on to end your night. Every year, Avalon Aglow brings the whole community together to celebrate the upcoming holidays. This event is free for everyone to enjoy. Watch as Avalon Park transforms into a winter wonderland with train rides and even an appearance by Santa Claus. After enjoying the festivities, make sure to grab a bite to eat from one of the many vendors and watch the holiday parade or even one of the local live performances. Finish off the night at Avalon Lake to enjoy Orlando's premier fireworks show! Grab some chairs and blankets to sit back with your family and friends to finish off the night with a bang. Join us for Avalon Aglow on December 5th for a night of holiday fun with family and friends! The event is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., ending with fireworks at 9. The community will gather to celebrate independence, tradition, and hometown pride with a full day of festive activities for all ages. Firecracker 5K kicks off the day in the morning – Start Independence Day on the right foot with the Firecracker 5K, bringing runners, families, and community groups together for a spirited morning race. Evening celebration from 5–9 PM – Downtown Avalon Park will be filled with red, white, and blue as the main celebration begins. Fireworks finale – End the night with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the sky in true Independence Day fashion. Bike Parade – Decorate your bikes in patriotic style and join the community for a festive bike parade through Downtown Avalon Park. Apple Pie Bake-Off – A classic holiday tradition returns as local bakers compete for bragging rights with their best apple pie creations. Family-friendly activities – Enjoy entertainment and activities designed for all ages throughout the evening.
