Avow Hospice Expands to Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties

Avow, a nonprofit hospice provider based in Collier County, will begin serving patients in Glades, Hendry and Lee counties, extending end-of-life care options to three counties with limited specialized services.

The organization offers hospice care, palliative care and community bereavement services. Hospice care provides comfort to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Palliative care delivers specialized medical treatment to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life for patients with serious illnesses. Avow also provides grief support and counseling to anyone in the community, not only families of former patients.

Avow has served Collier County for 40 years and will coordinate with local providers in the three new counties to deliver its full range of services.
