Myakka City residents can now hear the sounds of fresh produce. Chipotle Mexican Grill has released an original song titled “From Ground to Sound,” recorded using instruments crafted entirely from vegetables by the London Vegetable Orchestra.

The track, which premiered in Abbey Road Studios Studio Two, aims to connect the brand’s commitment to real ingredients with auditory experiences. The song incorporates sounds from instruments made from corn, jalapeños, bell peppers, avocado pits, lettuce, and onions.

The project, a collaboration between Chipotle and the five-member London Vegetable Orchestra, took three months to develop. Fernando Machado, chief brand officer at Chipotle, stated the goal was to create a track “impossible to separate from Chipotle itself.” Patrick Johns of the London Vegetable Orchestra highlighted the organic nature of vegetable instruments, noting that “no two vegetables behave exactly the same way.”

“From Ground to Sound” is now available on Spotify and Apple Music. A companion film detailing the creation process can be found on YouTube.
