Muscatine Appoints New Finance Director, Promotes Assistant

The City of Muscatine appointed Nancy Sorgenfrey as Finance Director and promoted Melissa Sims to Assistant Finance Director, effective immediately.

Sorgenfrey brings more than 20 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and strategic planning. Sims, who has worked in the Finance Department for 15 years, will support Sorgenfrey in managing the city's budget, payroll, accounts, and long-term financial planning.
