Consistent with this protocol, the Governor will, on rare and solemn occasions, direct the flags to be lowered to half-staff. Fraudulent Phone Calls

The City of Mount Dora encourages customers to remain aware of potential fraudulent phone calls from individuals claiming to represent the City and demanding immediate payment or threatening additional charges or service disconnection.Scammers often use urgent or threatening language to pressure customers into making quick decisions.To protect yourself, do not provide payment or personal information to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly and demands immediate payment. The City of Mount Dora will never demand payment over the phone or threaten immediate disconnection. Be cautious of callers who pressure you to act quickly or create a sense of urgency. If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact the City directly using official contact information.Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity. If you have questions about your account, please contact the City of Mount Dora Electric Utility at 352-735-7105.
