NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING October 2, 2024 6:05 PM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on October 2, 2024, at 6:05 PM at Longwood City Hall, 175 W. Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida, to consider the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 50, ARTICLE II, SECTION 50-27 OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO GARBAGE COLLECTION; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for inspection during regular business hours at Longwood City Hall, 175 W. Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person with a disability requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact the City Clerk’s Office at 407-260-3461 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the above referenced meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
