The Immokalee Water and Sewer District has issued a precautionary boil water notice due to a water main break. The area affected is from 1501 Lake Trafford Road, north to the end of Lake Trafford Road, east to Camp Florida Road, and includes all connecting side streets. As a precaution, all water used for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, and making ice should be boiled for one minute at a rolling boil. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until bacteriological surveys show that the water is safe to drink.
