2026 Municipal General and Special Elections - November 3, 2026

2026 Municipal General and Special Elections - November 3, 2026 The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The top vote getter wins the election. In the event of a tie vote, a Run-Off Election will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Candidates may qualify for Mayor, Commissioner Group I, and Commissioner Group IV. QUALIFYING PERIOD: The qualifying period for the election shall open Monday, July 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and close precisely at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026. Please keep in mind that all candidates will be filing their paperwork during this time. As such, please schedule an appointment with the City Clerk by calling (305)663-6340 or email at [email protected] to ensure that your paperwork can be received and reviewed for completeness, in time for qualifying.
