(KATV) — Temporary shelter locations are available for anyone who needs a safe place because of the current fire/evacuation situation in Calhoun County. Victory Baptist Church, 320 S. 2nd St., Hampton, AR 71744 Hampton High School Library, 419 E. Main St., Hampton, AR 71744 Hampton First Assembly of God Church, 248 6th St., Hampton, AR 71744 If you have been asked to evacuate or do not feel safe remaining in your home, please go to one of these locations. The Bunker fire is reported to be just over 2,300 acres. KATV will have further details as they arise.

"SEARCY, Ark. (KATV) — A Searcy resident is set to appear as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune on Wednesday! Anthony Shockley is a father of 9 and grandfather of 4 who loves football, volleyball and trying to beat his wife at Monopoly. He says that he has fond childhood memories of watching Wheel of Fortune with his dad. "He's in heaven now - I wish I could see his face when I told him I'm going to get a chance to be on the show!" Shockley said. Shockley will appear on Wednesday, Sept. 16."
