At 328 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20 miles north of Moab, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Grand County.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 184 and 198. U.S. Highway 191 in Utah near mile marker 149.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
