Jose Gustavo Alvarado, 17, Identified as Teenager Killed in Allapattah Weekend Shooting
Jose Gustavo Alvarado, 17, has been identified by police as the teenager who died following a weekend shooting in Allapattah. Miami Fire Rescue responded to the incident on Saturday, September 26, where Alvarado was found with a gunshot wound and later died from his injuries.

A 17-year-old who died after a shooting in Allapattah over the weekend has been identified by police as Jose Gustavo Alvarado. Miami Fire Rescue responded to the incident on Saturday, September 26, at 1:52 a.m. in the area of Northwest 23rd Court between 36th and 38th Street.
Crews found Alvarado with an alleged gunshot wound and transported him to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Miami Police confirmed that Alvarado later died from his injuries.
Shortly after Alvarado's transport, fire rescue also took a 45-year-old individual to the hospital for evaluation. This second individual had no injuries.
The investigation into the shooting remains active. Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the shooting or any potential suspects.
