Sweetwater Toy Giveaway Spreads Holiday Cheer
The City of Sweetwater hosted its annual Christmas Toy Giveaway on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at the Jorge Mas Canosa Youth Center, 250 SW 114 Ave. Mayor Jose “Pepe” Diaz and City Commissioners distributed toys to local children while supplies lasted.
Santa Claus made a memorable entrance, arriving by helicopter to the festive occasion. The event ran from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This tradition ensures that children in Sweetwater receive gifts during the holiday season. City officials and volunteers managed the distribution for eligible children.
