Car Crashes Into El Palacio de los Jugos in Kendall, Injuring Three and Causing Gas Leak

A car crashed into El Palacio de los Jugos on Southwest 56th Street in Kendall on Tuesday, injuring three people and causing a gas leak. Surveillance footage captured the SUV driving through the business after pulling into a parking spot.

The incident, which occurred around 3:45 p.m., prompted an emergency response from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials who notified a gas company about the leak. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office reported the incident.

Three individuals received hospitalization following the crash. One patient went to the West Trauma Center for treatment. Two other patients went to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was among those hospitalized, along with two women. All hospitalized individuals were in stable condition.

The crash caused significant disruption and damage to the popular Cuban restaurant. Authorities have not yet released details on the ongoing investigation or the full impact on the business.
