Manouchka Jean-Noel, 27, of Homestead, faces multiple felony charges after Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said she falsely claimed to be a licensed nurse and certified massage therapist. Jean-Noel allegedly operated Luxury Cosmetic Curves, a business offering post-operative care services to cosmetic surgery clients.

This situation directly impacts residents seeking post-operative care, highlighting the need for vigilance when verifying credentials of service providers. The allegations involve significant financial deposits and the potential for unqualified individuals to provide sensitive medical-adjacent services, raising concerns about patient safety and consumer protection within our community.

According to an MDSO arrest report, Jean-Noel advertised her services on Instagram, promoting lymphatic drainage massages, drain removal, and incision care. One video reportedly showed Jean-Noel performing a lymphatic massage where blood and other fluids squirted from an open wound. The investigation began after a victim reported paying Jean-Noel a $550 deposit for services she never received due to a rescheduled surgery. Jean-Noel refused to issue a full refund, and while the victim's bank refunded $450, she was unable to recover the remaining $150.

Deputies initiated an undercover operation, with an investigator arranging to meet Jean-Noel for post-operative care. Jean-Noel agreed to provide three days of care for $3,110 and took a $1,500 deposit. During this interaction, she told the undercover investigator she was a licensed nurse and massage therapist, claiming to have provided care to post-op clients since 2018. Authorities arrested Jean-Noel in the parking lot of the Homewood Suites by Hilton at 5500 Waterford District Drive. Following her arrest, Jean-Noel claimed a nurse named 'T' was the one who actually performed the care.

The legal process for Manouchka Jean-Noel will continue as she faces felony charges. Residents are reminded to verify the credentials of any healthcare or post-operative care providers to ensure they are properly licensed and qualified.
