Miami, FL – The Cushman School began its six-week Annual Fund campaign Oct. 8. The initiative runs through Nov. 19, which is Give Miami Day.
The school aims for 100% family participation by offering three ways to contribute to The Cushman Fund. The fund supports the school’s educational experience beyond tuition in Coconut Grove.
The Cushman Fund enhances the student experience by funding small class sizes, safety upgrades, innovation labs, performing arts programs and financial aid. It also helps attract and retain faculty and staff.
“Our six-week Fall Campaign is designed to give every family an opportunity to participate in a way that is meaningful to them,” said Lisa Arvin, Director of Advancement. “Families can choose how they would like to participate, and every form of engagement helps strengthen our Cushman community and support our students.”
Families can contribute through three avenues. The first is by selecting an annual Giving Circle, available through Nov. 19. The second is by sponsoring or attending the Halloween Howl event on Saturday, Oct. 24. The final opportunity is to give on Give Miami Day, Nov. 19, a citywide philanthropic event.
Contributions to The Cushman Fund support the operating budget across six key areas: safety and security, technology, athletics, innovation, performing arts, and scholarships and financial aid. The campaign concludes on Give Miami Day, a 24-hour giving period for South Florida donors.
