Russian Agents Charged in US Terror & Murder Plots

Federal authorities unsealed charges today against five individuals identified as members of the Russian Federation's intelligence services. Prosecutors allege these individuals conspired to finance terrorism and commit murder-for-hire within the United States and globally.

The announcement came from United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jamie McDonald; Attorney General for the United States Todd Blanche; Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg; Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel; Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's New York Field Office James C. Barnacle Jr.; and Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Washington Field Office Darren B. Cox.
