3 Indicted for Illegal Firearms Trafficking in Puerto Rico

A federal grand jury has indicted three individuals on charges of conspiracy to engage in illegal firearms trafficking. Héctor Ramírez-Carbó, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Puerto Rico, announced the indictment, which consists of three counts and was returned on September 22, 2026.

The U.S. Attorney's office did not immediately release specific details regarding the conspiracy, the number of firearms involved or their intended destinations. The legal process will now move forward with arraignments and potential further proceedings in federal court.
