FIU Law: Foreign Lawyers Need Law Degree for LLM

Florida International University (FIU) College of Law requires foreign-educated lawyers applying for its post-graduate academic degree program to hold a law degree from a foreign university. Applicants must submit official transcripts to the FIU Law LLM Admissions Committee.

FIU Law exclusively accepts applications through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) website. The law degree must have been obtained from a foreign institution through regular attendance at scheduled classroom residential sessions or direct faculty instruction, following American Bar Association guidelines.
