Federal Court Seeks Lawyer for Civil Rights Case in Miami

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida is seeking a pro bono attorney to represent a plaintiff in a civil rights lawsuit filed in May 2026.

The case, Crane v. Diraimondo et al (26-CV-23144-BB), alleges the plaintiff lost constitutional rights during post-judgment family court proceedings. The plaintiff seeks damages and court orders blocking future violations.

The attorney would handle all pretrial work, including discovery and mediation, and represent the client at trial if necessary. Interested lawyers can find details at https://www.flsd.uscourts.gov/volunteer-opportunities-and-pro-bono-assistance under the pro bono volunteering section. Questions go to [email protected].
