HELENA PARISH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT Road Superintendent: Brannon Barnes Assistant Superintendent: Orlando Cornish The Public Works Department Employees are dedicated to the maintenance of Police Jury owned roads. This includes but not limited to the repair, cutting, signage, drainage of public roads and bridges within St. Helena Parish. The six Road Districts each have an assigned crew to see to the everyday upkeep of the St. Helena Parish Districts roads. District Supervisors: District # 1 Patrick Sanders District # 2 Orlando Cornish District # 3 Calvin Self District # 4 Jerry Lee District # 5 Tyrone Warner District # 6 Ronnie Harris The Litter Abatement Program, Mosquito Abatement Program and Logging Permits are also managed by the St. Helena Parish Police Jury Public Works Division.

Tourism
Tourism Officers History of St. Helena Attractions Mission Statement The St. Helena Parish Tourist Commission is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of St. Helena Parish, and so that its citizens shall prosper. Its mission is to offer a foundation of benefits that can help the parish government grow and prosper and thereby promote the economic well-being of St. Helena Parish. Purpose The St. Helena Parish Tourist Commission was established pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 33.4574 and any related provision of Louisiana law. Specifically included but not limited to, the Commission has the authority to accept grants or donations of every type, to make capital improvements for the purpose of obtaining federal funds, to do all things necessary for the promotion, the advertisement, and the publication of information relating to tourist attractions within St. Helena Parish. Meetings Meetings will be held every other month on the 1st Wednesday. If that date is a holiday, then the new meeting date will be decided by a majority vote. However the meeting must be held sometime during that month. Regular meeting months are January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meeting are held at the Welcome Center at 5 pm. Tax Assessor
The St. Helena Parish Assessor is located in the Town of Greensburg. The assessor and his staff are responsible for assessing the value of properties located within the boundaries of St. Helena. The office handles various other duties and activities related to home and land ownership. Citizens with questions or concerns or anyone needing assistance should contact Assessor Personnel using the information provided in section.

Be a Least 17 years old, but must be 18 years old to vote. Not under an order of imprisonment for conviction of a felony. Not under a judgment of full interdiction for mental incompetence or partial interdiction with suspension of voting rights. Reside in parish in which you seek to register.
