USACE Okatibbee Lake and Dam
Aerial view of Okatibbee Dam and Lake on Okatibbee Creek, a tributary of the Chickasawhay River. The dam and lake are located in Lauderdale County, approximately 9 miles (14.5 km) northwest of Meridian, Mississippi, USA. The dam was constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control on the Okatibbee Creek and the upper Chickasawhay River. View is to the east.
