“Litter attracts litter, so these cleanups not only beautify a space, but they prevent litter as well,” said Keep Pasco Beautiful Coordinator John Fey. “About 80 percent of the trash in our waters originates from land, so we’re also protecting nurseries that so many creatures call home.”
In 2025, over 1,000 volunteers picked up more than 23 tons of trash at 50 locations throughout Pasco. Help us increase the number of volunteers so we can clean more sites. This event is a partnership with Keep Pasco Beautiful, Pasco County Public Works, Reworld Pasco, the Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation Foundation and Tampa Bay Water.
