New STEAM Preschool Opens Waitlist in St. Cloud's Harmony

Families in St. Cloud’s Harmony community have a new early childhood education option with the upcoming opening of Amazing Explorers Academy. The new location at 6605 Botanic Blvd. is now accepting names for its waitlist.

The academy will offer a full-day program for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. A core feature is its hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) curriculum, integrated into daily classroom activities.

Harmony, a master-planned community, has seen significant growth. The new preschool aims to meet local demand for quality childcare and education.

“Our new location will bring the same hands-on STEAM curriculum, consistent daily structure, and full-day hours that families already know from AEA’s other Central Florida locations, right in the Harmony community,” stated an academy representative.

The academy plans to offer full-day hours Monday through Friday. Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program may also be available for eligible 4-year-olds. Parents interested in VPK should inquire with the school director.

Officials advise families to join the waitlist early, as new locations in growing communities like Harmony often fill quickly, especially for infant and toddler classrooms due to limited student-to-teacher ratios. Joining the waitlist does not obligate enrollment but secures a place in line for information.

While on the waitlist, families should keep contact information current and consider their ideal start date and schedule. Construction and staffing updates will be shared with waitlist members.
