Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Clinton, Warren Counties Until 9 PM EDT

Residents in central Warren County and western Clinton County, Ohio, are advised to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building immediately. The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning effective until 9:00 PM EDT tonight, September 20.

At 8:19 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was detected near Hunter, moving southeast at 35 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts. Expected impacts include damage to trees and power lines.

Affected locations include Middletown, Mason, Lebanon, Springboro, Wilmington, Monroe, Franklin, Blanchester, Waynesville, Morrow, Hunter, South Lebanon, Clarksville, Harveysburg, Martinsville, Corwin, Midland, State Route 123 at State Route 132, Fort Ancient, and State Route 63 at State Route 741. This warning also covers I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 27 and 46, and I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 30 and 33, and between mile markers 35 and 38.
