Dense Fog Advisory Issued for Wide Area, Visibility Improving

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10:00 AM CDT today, September 29, for a broad region including Divide, Burke, Renville, Williams, Mountrail, McKenzie, Dunn, Stark, Burleigh, Kidder, Hettinger, Grant, Adams, Emmons, Logan, McIntosh, Northwest Ward, Western Morton, Eastern Morton, Western Sioux, and Eastern Sioux counties.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck, ND, issued this advisory at 9:52 AM CDT. While patchy dense fog is expected to persist through late morning, most affected areas are anticipated to see significant improvements in visibility.

Drivers should continue to exercise caution on the roads this morning. Reduce speed and use low-beam headlights if you encounter areas of lingering fog.
