Orangewood Christian School: Faith Commitment Required

Orangewood Christian School (OCS) welcomes students from diverse faith backgrounds, representing over 155 churches in its student body. Families draw from the Maitland area and beyond.

OCS identifies as a covenant Christian school. This requires participating families to share a commitment to the Christian faith and actively engage in a local evangelical church. Parental statements of faith form an integral part of this partnership.

As one of the few covenantal Christian schools in the Orlando area, Orangewood offers a Christ-first education. The school integrates Christian faith into all aspects of school life, from classrooms to community events.

The school's approach centers on providing an unapologetically Christian education. While students attend from various church affiliations, families must share foundational beliefs and actively participate in evangelical Christian communities.

Orangewood Christian School's philosophy nurtures students within a framework prioritizing Christian values and teachings. This approach aims to foster spiritual growth alongside academic development.
