Loud SWAT Training in Harbor Square Friday

Residents and visitors in the Harbor Square area should be aware that the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) SWAT Team will conduct door-breaching training on Friday, September 18. The exercise is expected to generate loud noises and sounds associated with tactical training.

The SCSO plans to place signage in the vicinity to inform the public that the activity is part of scheduled training. The Sheriff's Office asks for the community's understanding and cooperation during the exercise.
