Superior Court upholds life sentence for Shamokin murder

Corey Quincy will spend the rest of his life in prison after Pennsylvania's Superior Court affirmed his first-degree murder conviction in the April 2022 stabbing death of Rhonda Pearce.

Pearce, 43, died during an argument over drugs at 403 S. Vine St. in Shamokin. The Superior Court found no grounds to overturn the conviction or the life sentence without parole.
