Hillsborough Sheriff Arrests 120 in Warrants Operation

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested 120 people with active warrants during a week-long operation that concluded Sept. 15, 2026. The initiative, titled "Operation No Place To Hide," saw the HCSO's Warrants Section and Street Crimes Units attempt 667 warrants for misdemeanors and felonies across the county.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said the operation removed over 100 individuals from the streets, ensuring public safety. "If you have an active warrant in Hillsborough County, there is no place left to hide," Chronister said. "Our Warrants Section and Street Crimes Units tracked down more than 100 individuals who are now off our streets." He added that the sheriff's office will pursue suspects regardless of how long they evade arrest.
