The closure does not cross Broadway Street. The section of Ninth Avenue North from Broadway Street to Ocean Boulevard is open. The business parking lot and access to the Myrtle Beach Train Depot are also open. Work includes reconstructing the road and adding new concrete curb and gutter, brick paver bike lanes and fresh asphalt. The upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety and accessibility. Weather permitting, the work should be complete in six weeks. Pardon our progress!
