Logic & Accuracy Testing for the 2026 General Election
Berks County - Logic & Accuracy Testing Logic & Accuracy Testing News Date: Friday, September 25, 2026 Logic & Accuracy testing for the 2026 General Election Due Public Notice is hereby given that Berks County Election Services will be conducting the Logic & Accuracy testing of the precinct voting equipment to be used in the General Election to be held on November 3, 2026, beginning Monday, October 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., and continuing thereafter until completed. The testing is open to the public and will be conducted at the Berks County South Campus, located at 400 E. Wyomissing Ave. in Mohnton, PA. The testing of the electronic poll books will be held at the same location, beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., until complete. Further the Logic & Accuracy testing of the central count tabulators will be conducted on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at 600 Penn Street, 3rd floor, in Reading, PA.

Learn about the recent training exercises that have enhanced our emergency preparedness and the new initiatives aimed at improving community safety. We will also be providing an update on traffic safety improvements planned for Main Street. **Parks and Recreation Updates:** With spring in full swing, our Parks and Recreation department is busy preparing for a season of outdoor activities. The Elections Office is under the direct supervision of the Mifflin County Board of Elections. The responsibilities of this office include necessary preparation for all elections including: ballots, maintaining individual voting records, election supplies, training for elected Election Officials, and supervision of the official count of votes cast. Mifflin County - Correctional Facility Skip to Content Correctional Facility Correctional Facility About the Correctional Facility The Correctional Facility detains inmates as directed by the Courts, provides treatment services and maintains a physical environment assuring the safety of the public, staff and prisoner. The Correctional Facility also serves as the Central Booking Center for criminal fingerprinting and arraignment, Megan's law processing and fingerprinting for the general public. The Correctional Facility also offers detainees and sentenced inmates numerous programs that inmates can participate in while housed in the facility. The Berks County Shelter Care offers a safe and supportive environment that nurtures the well-being of youth, promoting their mental, emotional, and physical well-being through positive and compassionate engagement. The shelter provides an opportunity for males and females between the ages of ten to eighteen who are experiencing challenges that make it unsafe for them to remain in the community, an opportunity to participate in a structured, nonsecure shelter.
