Bishop Emilio E. Biosca, O.F.M. Cap., completed his first visits to two Florida seminaries since his installation as Shepherd of the Diocese of Venice. From Sept. 25-27, 2026, the bishop met with men in formation and discernment for the priesthood.

Bishop Biosca toured St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami and St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach. He held private meetings with each seminarian to learn their stories and offer support for their spiritual growth.

The visit to St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary coincided with Parents' Weekend, allowing the bishop to meet with several seminarians' families. On Sept. 27, Bishop Biosca presided over the Institution of Lectors and Acolytes at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Boca Raton.

In the coming weeks, Bishop Biosca is scheduled to visit additional seminarians at Mount St. Mary College in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary in Weston, Massachusetts.
