NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ORDINANCE 18-24 ORDINANCE 19-24 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, will hold public hearings to consider the enactment of Ordinance 18-24, relating to the FY2024/2025 budget, and Ordinance 19-24, relating to the zoning code, as follows: Ordinance 18-24: A budget ordinance relating to the FY2024/2025 budget. Ordinance 19-24: An ordinance amending the zoning code. The public hearings will be held at the City Commission Meeting at the New Smyrna Beach City Hall, 210 Sams Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at 6:30 p.m. on the following dates: Ordinance 18-24: First Reading – August 13, 2024 Second Reading – August 27, 2024 Ordinance 19-24: First Reading – August 13, 2024 Second Reading – August 27, 2024 All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection at the City Clerk’s Office, 210 Sams Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
