NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing at City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following Ordinance: ORDINANCE 2024-16 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, AS AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR SMALL SCALE DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENTS TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PURSUANT TO SECTION 163.3187, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, AND OTHER APPROPRIATE AGENCIES, FOR REVIEW; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A complete copy of this Ordinance is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Any person desiring to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
