Central Elementary Students Plant Trees at Greendale Cabin

Fifth-grade students from Central Elementary School planted trees at the Greendale Cabin on Arbor Day, learning proper techniques from resident Linda Cromer.

Students worked together to plant a tree on the cabin grounds, then visited the Sycamore Sisters, a grove of towering sycamore trees that serves as a gathering space. Cromer guided them through the grove and discussed its history.

The full-day program combined instructional time with outdoor activities focused on tree care and conservation.
