Mr. William “Bill” Kenneth Johnson, age 66, of Walstonburg went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2026.A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 28th, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill.Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and spend time out in his shop woodworking. He was known to have a heart of gold and always someone you could count on.Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shelby Johnson; son, Terry Hayes; daughter, Brenda Frizzelle (Michael); brother-in-law, Jimmy Lowery; sister, Vickie Sharpe (Tracy); brothers, Robbie Best (Kim) and Wayne Best (Kim); 7 grandchildren, 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 10 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Best; father, Harold Best; brother, Bob Johnson; and son, David Hayes.Condolences may be expressed at www.taylor-tyson.com
