This watch indicates that tropical storm-force winds are possible within the area within the next 48 hours. The watch is set to expire on October 9, 2026, at 12:15 AM UTC.
Residents are advised to plan for hazardous wind of equivalent tropical storm force. Efforts to protect property should be underway now. Prepare for potential limited wind damage, including damage to porches, awnings, carports, sheds, and unanchored mobile homes.
