CHEYENNE, WY – October 10, 2026 – The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for parts of Albany and Carbon Counties, Wyoming, has officially expired as of 5:00 PM MDT today, October 10, 2026. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Cheyenne, WY, issued an update stating that the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
While the severe threat has passed, residents in the affected areas should be aware that gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. No further immediate action is required based on this alert.
The warning was initially issued at 4:51 PM MDT and was set to expire at 5:00 PM MDT.
