The Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Dodge City, Kansas, has concluded as of 11:00 AM CDT today, September 28. The advisory, which was in effect for Trego, Scott, Lane, Ness, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Morton, Stevens, Seward, and Meade counties, indicated improving visibility across the region as fog dissipated.

Readers in the affected areas should continue to exercise caution on roadways. While the advisory has expired, conditions can change rapidly. The NWS reported that automated observations and webcams showed a significant improvement in visibility.
