Civil War Cavalry Solider on South West Corner of Queen and King Street in Lancaster, PA. This Soldiers and Sailors Monument is a 43-foot tall memorial in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The monument's original intention was to pay tribute to Lancastrian Union soldiers killed during the American Civil War. The 1744 Treaty of Lancaster between the British and Iroquois was signed on this location.
