Lake Worth City Council Election: Qualify Nov. 2-10, 2026

Lake Worth residents interested in serving on the City Council may file to run for office between Nov. 2 and Nov. 10, 2026. The election for City Council seats in Groups 2 and 4 is scheduled for March 9, 2027. All council members are elected at-large.

The City Council has five members. Three council members are elected in even-numbered years, and two are elected in odd-numbered years. The council selects the mayor during its organizational meeting each March.

Residents can also review proposed and past city budgets. The proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget is available, along with the FY 2023-2024 and FY 2022-2023 budgets.

The city's website allows residents to manage online services, including notification subscriptions and saved form progress.
