The Kodiak Island Borough is hiring laborers to assist with the basic maintenance of grounds and facilities.  This position is temporary and expected to last up to six months on a full-time or part-time basis.General Laborers perform a variety of tasks, indoors and outside, at various sites.  The job duties of a General Laborer vary and may include lawn mowing, litter control, cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, clearing snow, and using a variety of tools and machines such as lawnmowers, pallet jacks, weed eaters, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, water spraying equipment, and snow blowers.
